August 2007 - We have been working on a re-design of www.rannochsmokery.co.uk. The original site was built in November 06 using an early version of V8 Actinic. The site was launched to take advantage of the potentially busy Christmas food shopping period. The site was taking orders within a few hours of launch, we ensured we used pre-existing website pages to draw shoppers into the ecommerce part of the website.

The site has now been overhauled ready for Christmas 07 with extra products added especially for Christmas including food gift boxes and non consumables..

May 2007 - A local acupuncture practicioner asked us to create a web presence for his clinic. Initially he asked for a 3 page website that would rank highly in search engines. We explained that small sites such as he envisaged would struggle to get prominant natural search engine listings. Hence we suggested a site using blogging software - WordPress. Wordpress is an open source blogging application. We suggested a website with static pages to promote the acupuncture clinic with the addition of extra content to keep the site current with extra pages being added on a regular basis. Our client agreed to add extra content in the form of blogs to both provide extra relevant content for website visitors and new pages for search engines. Sticky content will take the form of seasonal tips in keeping with Chinese Medicine and diet, and comment on latest research.
